Many people loved a beautiful story of life because it carries and shares wonderful lessons they can relate with. Some of these stories are poignant; others are vibrant; many are also prize-winning. But common to these stories is the truth that everyone has a dream and hopes to achieve this dream. In his new book, author David Alfred Kane shares the story of life from the beginning to the time when he is Capturing the Last Available Dream.
Deprived of the genuine memories of his biological parents, Kane poignantly shares only a bit about them and begins to narrate of his own life journey. In Capturing the Last Available Dream, he relates of the memories of his early years with his foster parents, the hardships he experienced with his stepfather, his educational endeavors, work experiences, having a family of his own, and capturing the last available dream. But what is this last available dream Kane is referring to?
“I am proud to say that I now am a lovable old codger with an abundance of love in my heart; a personal relationship with Jesus; an incredible, enviable real-world education; and much to say about a lot of things. Having run the race, flown the flight plan, navigated the waters, dived the depths, traveled the world, founded the company, raised the family, and understood my faith, I can say without apology “I captured it—all of it”,” the author says.
Through Capturing the Last Available Dream, readers will be inspired to believe that even if the world is unkind, despite the seemingly insurmountable trials and immense problems, as long as one never stops dreaming and trying to fulfill this dream with deep faith, there will be a prize waiting at the end.
