Mid-market investment bank Westbury Group expands to the West Coast with the hiring of experienced M&A specialist Tim Williamson as managing director.

Westbury Group LLC, a mid-market investment bank headquartered in Connecticut, announced today that Timothy Williamson has joined the firm as its thirteenth managing director and the head of its new West Coast office based in San Francisco.

Westbury provides M&A as well as debt and equity fund raising services for clients in transactions valued between $10 million to $250 million. The firm is a licensed FINRA broker/dealer.

Mr. Williamson has 30 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, merchant banking, corporate financings, restructuring and reorganization, valuation and business planning. Many of the transactions he has initiated are in the Food, Oil/Energy and Information Technology industries.

For 10 years after earning an MBA at Northwestern University, Mr. Williamson was an investment banker in New York City at Morgan Stanley, PaineWebber and Drexel Burnham Lambert. For the subsequent 12 years he was a managing director with Ernst & Young's Corporate Finance practice. More recently, he was president of TWAssociates Capital, a private merchant bank, and managing director at Navigant Capital Advisors and Navitas Corporate Finance, both boutique investment banks and both in San Francisco.
