Brookstone is moving beyond the malls, catalogs and web pages that have made the company an icon of specialty retailing. Today it announced the launch of its new Wholesale and Licensing Division, which will make the company’s trademark assortment of innovative products and unique gifts available to additional retail outlets worldwide. The company named Rudy Woodard Executive Vice President, Product Development, Wholesale and Licensing. Douglas Colley was named Operational Vice President of the new division.
“The new Brookstone Wholesale and Licensing Division will be developing relationships with the biggest and most exciting retailers and manufacturers worldwide,” said Ron Boire, Brookstone President and CEO. “We see this as a tremendous opportunity to extend the reach of the Brookstone brand.”

About Rudy Woodard
Mr. Woodard served Brookstone as Vice President, General Merchandise Manager, from 2002 to his recent appointment as Executive Vice President, Product Development, Wholesale and Licensing. From 2001 to 2002, Mr. Woodard served as Operational Vice President, General Merchandise Manager. In 1998, he was appointed Divisional Merchandise Manager. Mr. Woodard joined Brookstone in 1993 as a buyer and managed numerous product categories from 1993 to 1998. Prior to joining our company, Mr. Woodard held senior buying positions at Jordan Marsh/Abraham & Strauss and Miller and Rhoads.
About Douglas Colley
Mr. Colley joined Brookstone in 2010 as Operational Vice President, General Merchandise Manager Product Development, Wholesale and Licensing. Prior to this Mr. Colley held a series of leadership positions with Nautica, a division of VF Corporation, including Vice President, Global Home Licensing, and Vice President, Retail Development, for Nautica licensed businesses. He has also served as a consultant, developing strategies and growth initiatives for small to mid-sized companies in the fashion and home furnishings industries. He began his career at The Gap and Macy’s.
