Village Podiatry Centers is pleased to announce that podiatric surgeon, Dr. Debbie Byron, has joined our office in Macon to provide comprehensive treatment and surgery for the foot, ankle and lower leg.
Dr. Byron received her doctorate at Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Her surgical residency was completed at James Haley Veterans Administration in Tampa, Florida and through the Certified Preceptorship Program at Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Forest Park, Georgia. She furthered her training through an additional surgical residency at St Joseph Hospital / NCVA in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Byron is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedic and Primary Podiatric Medicine. She is board certified in Wound Care Management by the American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Byron is a native of Macon and has more than ten years of experience in private practice. She treats all conditions including bunions, fractures, heel pain, toenail problems, diabetic foot related conditions, sports injuries and deformities or injuries requiring reconstructive surgery.
The Macon office, located at 3556 Riverside Drive, houses clinical treatment facilities and the Surgical Center of Georgia, a state-licensed ambulatory surgery center for the lower extremity. Most insurances and Medicare are accepted.
