An Evening of Fine Wine and Cuisine Await at the 19th Annual Gary's Wine & Marketplace Grand Tasting Event

The much-anticipated wine tasting event will help benefit select local charities and feature the best of wine paired with excellently prepared cuisine.

Gary's Wine & Marketplace, an established leader in the fine wine & spirits business will hold the 19th Grand Annual Tasting Event on October 18th, 2010 at the Madison Hotel, located at 1 Convent Road in Morristown, New Jersey. The Grand Tasting raises money for select charities and features hundreds of wines from around the world. This year Gary's Wine & Marketplace will donate all proceeds from the event to several deserving organizations, including Interfaith Food Pantry, Atlantic Hospice, and the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute at Morristown Memorial Hospital.

Wine connoisseurs and novices alike will delight in the spectacular array of varietals and vineyards represented at this year's Grand Tasting. Gary's Wine & Marketplace has taken great care in selecting some of the year's best finds in wine. Guests will mingle with representatives from the world's most heralded wineries, tasting their newest and most exciting releases, and enjoy a spread of great food and Gary's Wine & Marketplace's expertly-sourced cheese and charcuterie to complement the selections.

The Grand Tasting begins with an exclusive VIP hour during which registered guests will have their chance to taste through the wines at the tops of their lists before the larger crowd arrives. In addition to early admission, two special seminars will be offered to VIP's. A "Prestige Boutique" Champagne Seminar will entitle the first 35 to sign up to taste Ruinart Blanc de Blanc, Ruinart Rose, Dom Ruinart 1998, Krug Grand Cuvee and Krug Vintage 1998 prior to joining the main event. Later in the evening, a "Compass Box Whisky Seminar" will introduce attendees to a world of whisky that covers blends vs single malts, grain vs malted, barrel types and blending styles, all while tasting the Compass Box range of expressions from Asyla, Oak Cross and Peat Monster to Spice Tree, Orangerie and Hedonism.

General Admission to the Grand Tasting provides ample time to sample more than 400 wines. A Special Selections room will be available, where some extraordinary surprises can be found. Winemaker and principal appearances from rising stars like Evening Land, Oakville Ranch, Ziata, Moon-Tsai are in store. Special selections will also include coveted bottles you've been waiting to taste from Beaujolais 2009, Napa Valley 2007, Gems of Italy, Gems of Spain and GF Family of Wines.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available online through or at any of Gary's Wine & Marketplace retail locations in Madison, Wayne and Bernardsville, New Jersey. VIP admission tickets are $100, General Admission are $75 and Tasters Guild General Admission tickets are $65.
