to my siblings and me, I now pass on to the world.
Decatur, GA (Vocus) October 13, 2010
Children often believe that their daddy are legends in their own times. Author Ann Davis, however, believes that few could compare to her father, Charles Rudolph Rush, Sr. She invites readers to listen to what Daddy Said… in an inspirational account that pays tribute to a remarkable man.
Charles Rudolph Rush, Sr. was a legend in his own time. Bright, intelligent, and articulate, he was a man of particular savvy. Analytical and methodical, he was a no-nonsense man. Daddy Said… recounts his life, the great things he did for his family, and the nuggets of wisdom he shared with his children. As the author recalls her beloved father in this autobiographical account, she remembers the wise thoughts he imparted and how he worked hard to keep the family together after his wife died. He is truly a legend not only to his kids but also to so many other people whose lives he has touched.
“As a military wife, I have traveled the world touching lives, indirectly spreading my father’s wisdom. My children still quote his sayings, living by these values as I have,” shares the author. “What “Daddy Said” to my siblings and me, I now pass on to the world.”
