Azusa, Calif. (PRWEB) October 14, 2010
Acrylatex Coatings & Recycling, Inc. a certified Southern California latex paint recycling facility has announced new programs whereby commercial businesses, contractors and property managers have the means to recycle their excess or unwanted latex paints quickly and easily. With many businesses storing cans and pails of excess paint in utility rooms and warehouses simply because there are no easy means to legally dispose the unwanted paint, it quickly becomes unsightly as well as expensive due to loss of valuable storage space.
“We often see several pallets of left-over paints stacked up at contractors’ warehouses,” said Brian Brittain, General Manager of Acrylatex. “Not only can we eliminate the burden of disposing of paint for any business that no longer needs it, but we do it by charging one of the lowest recycling fees in the area. In many cases, pick-up and recycling can be FREE if certain criteria are met. Our programs act as an incentive to encourage continued use of purchasing more recycled paints while keeping waste out of our landfills.”
“We recycle everything we collect,” states Gary Erb, Sales Manager. “We process waste paint through several stringent procedures to produce a high-grade 'recycled' paint in 20-standard colors. Even metal cans and plastic pails are recycled, as well as the dried out paint rounds found at the bottom of paint cans!”
Acrylatex’s services can assist in proper waste management practices to insure that latex paints are recycled in an approved manner and can even provide the necessary containers, labels and shipping documents required by law to ship these materials. Other programs include free hauling from a customers’ site to Acrylatex’s facility using their dispatched trucks, or direct customer drop-offs by appointment.
