Brian Fischler, Laugh For Sight's President/Co-Founder, is a nationally recognized blind stand-up comedian who was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa in his early teens. Despite living with limited vision that has been declining over the years, he took a proactive stance and helped to form the Laugh For Sight organization and comedy benefit show. Fischler also recently partnered with Laugh For Sight L.A.'s title sponsor VisionZone where he serves as an advocate for ocular health awareness, contributes weekly blog posts, and starred as a lead actor in the short film "You're Not Alone Anymore" about low vision.
Laugh For Sight has also confirmed the national expansion of its signature comedy benefit show with the premiere of an additional inaugural event in Miami, FL at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach on December 17, 2010.
