This Veterans Day, encourages the community to enjoy and appreciate an authentic collection of online military photos honoring the many brave men and women who are veterans of or who are currently serving in the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard. The VetFriends military photo collection is a tribute to all U.S. military heroes and is made up of thousands of authentic military photos.

This Veterans Day, Americans will come together to express their respect and gratitude towards U.S. veterans and military personnel. - the largest Web site for reuniting U.S. veterans - encourages the community to enjoy and appreciate an authentic collection of military photos at, honoring the many brave men and women who have served or are serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. All photos were submitted by U.S. veterans, active military, family and friends -- with photos spanning from World War I to the present.

The military photo collection is made up of thousands of images in honor of U.S. military personnel. Visitors can search for images by specific military branch, year, war, state and country. Each picture contains background information along with a brief message or description stating the year, military unit and branch, war served and more. Pictures can be viewed at regular size or enhanced for a larger close up view.

After finding a photo in the photo collection, visitor S. Malanga writes: "What a surprise for me! The man on the right is my father! Thank you for putting this picture online. I was just going from site to site trying to bring back memories and there he was on!"

Honor a Loved One Who Served or is Serving: Post Their Photo in the Collection --
All photos, both color and black and white can be uploaded free at, where they are then edited, resized, approved for content and posted live for the world to see. In addition, all photo submissions to VetFriends received in October through Veterans Day and the holiday season will have a chance to win a free U.S. Military cap of choice from the full VetFriends catalog. Once a photo is submitted it is automatically entered into the contest.

In addition to the photo section, a Veterans Day parade/events directory is available for people to find events in their area to show their support. The directory will highlight locations, dates and times of Veterans Day 2010 events at Coordinators along with the community can submit and register their events at this site address as well.
