Poiesis Informatics, a developer of healthcare IT solutions that orchestrate an optimized workflow experience through rich interoperability of healthcare systems, announced today a partnership with the University of Chicago Medical Center, one of the nation’s leading hospitals. The partnership allows Poiesis to begin testing and further develop its workflow solutions within the Medical Center’s Radiology Informatics department.

“This agreement allows us a significant opportunity to develop and customize workflow solutions for one of the premier radiology departments in the country,” said Claudine Martin, Poiesis President and Co-Founder. “Our vision for the future of imaging informatics is very much aligned with the University of Chicago, and we look forward to working together to create next generation solutions that result in measurable improvements in workplace efficiency and quality of care.”

This agreement will serve to further the capabilities of Poiesis’ technology platform, the Poiesis Workflow Orchestration Suite, in an effort to support rich interoperability of healthcare systems and enterprise workflow. Feedback and evaluations resulting from this partnership will strengthen the user-driven software offerings that Poiesis continues to expand upon in the areas of workflow, communication and quality.

“Poiesis has been a very important partner that has provided mission-critical, customized workflow solutions that have enabled us to greatly enhance both service quality and efficiency at the University of Chicago Medical Center,” said Dr. Richard Baron, Chairman, Department of Radiology. “We welcome the opportunity to strengthen our collaboration; we are confident this relationship will allow us to address future complex workflow requirements that will challenge all radiology departments.”
