New FBM Agreement with Singapore's Premier Infocomm Federation

Asia's leading Enterprise IT publisher - Fairfax Business Media Asia (FBM Asia) - has struck a new agreement with Singapore's premier IT industry association - the Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) - to work more closely together. The new partnership which will cover key areas such as the promotion of the SiTF Awards, helping the SiTF promote their work through eNewsletters, blogs and columns in FBM publications, on the web site plus working together on future events.

The new partnership which will cover key areas such as the promotion of the SiTF Awards, helping the SiTF promote their work through eNewsletters, blogs and columns in FBM publications, on the web site plus working together on future events.

SiTF - http://www.sitf.org.sg - , the Singapore infocomm industry trade association, brings together almost 400 corporate members from MNCs and local companies. SiTF assists its members in business development, market intelligence, overseas trade missions, networking and alliances.

SiTF has nine chapters under its wing - Best Sourcing, Digital Media, Cloud Computing, eGovernment, eLearning, Green IT, Singapore Enterprise, Security & Governance and Wireless. SiTF also owns and manages the Infocomm Singapore Centre (ISC) in Shanghai and has a joint venture with Hangzhou e-Software Park (HZESP) to set up the solution centre in Hangzhou, China, to give local infocomm companies a foothold into the China market.

FBM Asia -http://www.mis-asia.com- publishes Computerworld Singapore, Computerworld Malaysia, and the regional MIS Asia and CIO Asia magazines to a total database of more than 27,000 C-level executives, senior IT executives and managers across Asia.

FBM Asia regional manager, Mark Hobson said FBM will benefit through broader brand awareness in Singapore, greater exposure of its magazines and closer links with the Singapore IT community.

"Our magazines - particularly Computerworld Singapore - have many subscribers and readers in common with SiTF's membership and this is a very appropriate fit for us and for the Federation," Hobson said. 'This new relationship will bring benefits to our readers and SiTF members alike and FBM news will appear on the Federation website."

Mr Eddie Chau, 1st Vice-Chairman of SiTF Council and Founder/CEO of Brandtology Pte Ltd, announced the FBM agreement at the annual SiTF Awards Ceremony.
