The Korea Electronics Show is an important event for our industry and for the region, and we at NextWindow are pleased to be part of it

NextWindow, a subsidiary of SMART Technologies, announces it is exhibiting at the Korea Electronics Show (KES) 2010. KES, now in its 41st year, is an annual trade show and conference that showcases more than 1,000 electronics companies from 30 countries. Major electronics manufacturers and suppliers will display their products – ranging from cell phones to semiconductors – and give presentations focusing on current and future technology trends affecting Korean and global markets. NextWindow will be exhibiting at KES 2010 in Seoul, South Korea, from October 12 to 15 in booth M1370.

While 2010 marks the first year NextWindow exhibits at KES, the company has been selling to Korean electronics manufacturers since 2005 – and earlier this year, it opened an office in Seoul. At KES 2010, NextWindow intends to demonstrate its newest optical touch solutions, including the 1900 Desktop Touch and the 2500 Profile Touch. The 1900 Desktop Touch is designed for desktop computers and monitors, while the 2500 Profile Touch is optimized for large-format applications. Additional information about both the 1900 Desktop Touch and 2500 Profile Touch can be found at nextwindow.com/products/index.html.

“The Korea Electronics Show is an important event for our industry and for the region, and we at NextWindow are pleased to be part of it,” says Yong-sun Kim, Country Manager for NextWindow in South Korea. “Korea is a significant market for NextWindow, and we look forward to demonstrating our products for local and international electronics manufacturers attending this event.”

About the Korea Electronics Show
The first Korea Electronics Show took place in 1969. Over the past 41 years, KES has supported the Korean electronics industry and international markets. Korean technology has transformed products from the vacuum tube radio to the mobile phone, IPTV and semiconductor. With significant technological developments and increased demand for Korean electronic products throughout the world, Korean production has rapidly increased, with the country now ranked fourth in the world for electronics production. Additional information about the 2010 Korean Electronics Show can be found at kes.org.
