Consumer Contact ULC is pleased to announce the creation of Consumer Contact U.S. Inc., an affiliate company that will manage Consumer Contact’s expanding U.S. operations including a newly constructed call centre in Cheektowaga, New York.

“Consumer Contact is a growth company that is expanding its customer experience management solutions. Within this expansion is the need for additional customer interviewing capacity. As our business expands in the U.S. as well as Canada, we feel now is the ideal time to open a US call center,” says Derek Bildfell, company CEO.

The creation of Consumer Contact U.S. Inc. and the Cheektowaga call centre is evidence of Consumer Contact’s continuing development as a leader in customer experience management. The company has been expanding business operations across Canada and into the United States over the last several years and its staff size has increased by 30% in 2010 alone.

As both large and small companies recognize the benefits of employing effective customer experience management programs, the demand for Consumer Contact’s many service offerings continues to increase.

In addition to Consumer Contact’s 5 Canadian-based call centres, The Cheektowaga call centre will provide improved localized service to American clients, allowing them to travel domestically within the country when tracking project progress. This initiative will allow US consumer feedback to be collected by American interviewers.

The new centre is equipped with 106 call stations and a state of the art formal meeting room. The close proximity of this call centre to Canada enables our executive client project teams to travel between Cheektowaga, New York and Toronto, Ontario promptly when their presence is required. The additional resources will allow for greater project distribution, efficiency and management.
“After careful consideration, we found Buffalo to be an ideal location with great infrastructure, a large pool of talented and motivated potential employees and the added benefit of being close to our head office in Toronto, Ontario,” says Bildfell.

The Cheektowaga call centre is located within the Apple Tree Business Park, a short drive from downtown Buffalo and just minutes from the Greater Buffalo International Airport. The new location offers ample parking space, accessible bus service, daycare, fitness facilities and deli. Cheektowaga is home to a robust labour force that will benefit both Consumer Contact and the Greater Buffalo economy.
