Official Party Bands provides High-End National Party Bands

A new player in the music and entertainment scene, Official Party Bands (OPB), launched this week with a website designed to help people plan the “Perfect Party.” Whether you want to wow thousands at a national product launch or create memories for guests at an intimate wedding, OfficialPartyBands.com will help you find and preview some of the best musical entertainment in the country and gather information about perfect party requirements. Official Party Bands, the brainchild of Atlanta musician and entrepreneur, Dennis Smith, and Charlotte, NC-based talent consultant Ed Duncan, features multi-genre bands that all share core attributes -- they include world-class performers like Toni Braxton’s sister Trina, Tyler Perry’s musical director, Ronnie Garrett, Grammy award-winning horn section, Horns Unlimited. All bands perform a non-stop show at the quality level of national acts for the most discerning planners and hosts. Official Party Band entertainers have performed such events as President Obama’s Inaugural Ball, Disney’s Largest World Movie Premier – “Cars”, Donald Trump’s New Years Eve Mar-A-Lago bash, Eli Manning’s wedding, as well as countless movie and television appearances. Band members have even toured internationally.

“Every party planner wants to deliver fun and create long-lasting memories,” said Dennis Smith. “OfficialPartyBands.com provides demo videos, band member perspectives and fan reviews so that party planners can choose and customize entertainment with confidence,” Smith said.

Through their careers, Smith and Duncan have played just about every role in entertainment possible. Smith, a guitarist, band producer and entrepreneur, hand-picks – and sometimes develops – featured bands. “We look for more than talent – we find musicians and vocalists who have world-class talent, but who are also passionate about entertaining, who want nothing more than to thrill a client and their guests with every tune, every move, every gesture.” Smith produces and occasionally performs in cornerstone band, Party on the Moon, which recently was featured in an American Entertainment Magazine cover story.

Duncan, a talent agent and owner of EastCoast Entertainment with more than 30 years experience serving clients in corporations, charitable organizations and event planners, agrees, “Our planners need a broad variety of musical options to consider, but every option MUST include top-notch on and off-stage professionals and beautiful entertainers in a custom show designed to delight,” he said. “OPB bands perform high- energy current dance, funk, rock, new country, blues, jazz, jam, motown and standards – and much more – to make events for any audience come to life. Think national act, without the national act price or rider.” With his national view on gaps in the high-end entertainment market, Duncan guides OPB recruiting and packaging, ensuring that the group’s portfolio of entertainers fits the bill of changing preferences and enduring ‘must-haves’.

OfficialPartyBands.com currently features six bands, including the team’s newest band – Jessie’s Girls.
