ZCorum will demonstrate TruVizion, its advanced diagnostics and analytics software for cable broadband providers, as part of the first CTO-Led Tour of the exhibit hall at the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo in New Orleans next week. Scott Helms, Vice President of Technology, will explain how cable providers can use TruVizion's monitoring, diagnostics and advanced mapping features to decrease the Mean Time to Repair during outages and reduce talk-time in customer service.

“We applaud SCTE’s efforts to foster connections between cable operators and vendors to find solutions that will offer customers a better experience while also reducing the operator’s costs.

ZCorum, a wholesale provider of broadband services and software, announced that it has been chosen to participate in the first-ever CTO-led tours of the exhibit hall at the SCTE Cable-Tec Expo. The company will be demonstrating its TruVizion software, which arms cable operators with data and analytics that can help reduce operating costs and boost customer satisfaction.

In an effort to increase the educational value in the exhibit hall, Expo organizers recruited some of the most prominent CTOs in the cable industry to lead groups of cable system operators in visiting selected vendor booths. Participants on each tour will be grouped by areas of interest, such as Advanced Advertising, Network Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Monitoring, Commercial Services, IPTV, Wireless and Mobility, TV Everywhere and Video Stream Conditioning.

Scott Helms, ZCorum's Vice President of Technology, will give tour participants a live demonstration of their TruVizion software, which fits neatly in the KPI monitoring category. "Supporting subscribers and managing plant issues are costly," said Helms. "We will demonstrate how cable providers can use TruVizion's monitoring, diagnostics and advanced mapping features to decrease the Mean Time to Repair during outages and reduce talk-time in customer service."

According to Helms, TruVizion helps operators cut back on the number of truck rolls by targeting when and where resources should be applied, and reduces the time spent in the field by cable technicians. He added that TruVizion can also improve the overall quality of the cable network by allowing Plant Managers to find and correct systemic problems that are often intermittent and hard to track down.

"We're honored that SCTE selected ZCorum and our TruVizion software for inclusion in the first CTO-Led Tour program," said Arthur Skinner, Vice President of Business Development at ZCorum. "We applaud SCTE's efforts to foster connections between cable operators and vendors to find solutions that will offer customers a better experience while also reducing the operator's costs."
