ExerVibe Vibration "Cardio Climber" Edges Out Platform Vibration for Beneficial Athletic Training Enhancements

Recent study at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL, found that WBV cardio vibration is increasingly beneficial to platform vibration, a compared ExerVibe cardio climbing (dynamic) vibration to platform standing vibration (static).

Study showed that vibration cardio climbing appears to produce acute enhancement of jump height similar to those produced with vibration platforms.

For more than 5 years, and before any other vibration company considered applying Whole Body Vibration (WBV) into “cardio equipment”, the ExerVibe (manufactured by VersaClimber) has been successfully leading the way since 2005! ExerVibe is a total body cardio climber that applies vibration through the entire body, at once, while training in motion -- stepping, running, sprinting, pushing and pulling; no other vibration equipment available today, can offer this—except ExerVibe.

Different from all other vibration equipment, the ExerVibe Climber uses whole body vibration (WBV) to target either the entire body, or specific body parts, during both static and dynamic exercises. Vibration stimulation is applied through foot pedals, handgrips, adjustable seat and handrails with selectable on and off cycles. Whole Body Vibration stimulation is used to enhance stretching, strength, power and endurance- along with the benefits of increased fluid movement in the working muscles. Studies show major improvements of 10%-30% in bone density, increased motor recruitment and muscle strength, increased resting metabolic rate and reduced blood pressure.

As further proof cardio vibration is increasingly beneficial to platform vibration, a recent study conducted by P.L. Jacobs, D.J. Cortez, A.J. Berrones at Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL, compared ExerVibe cardio climbing (dynamic) vibration to platform standing vibration (static).

The conclusions of this study showed that dynamic WBV climbing appears to produce acute enhancement of jump height similar to those produced with WBV platforms, thus providing a useful means for an immediate increase in power production. Practical applications on recreationally-active subjects, and perhaps athletes, may use dynamic WBV climbing as a means to enhance power output prior to participation in vigorous athletic training or competition.
