This color changing technology has been in the making for years. You have to see it to believe it...

Lambano officially releases its first shoe - the CAM-1. Preordering for this shoe began on July 31, 2010.

Lambano designs and sells shoes with the goal of seamlessly merging fashion with technology.

The hallmark that differentiates this sneaker from others is its color changing technology. The CAM-1 features a patented method for changing the color of the logo from one color to another; the first model of the CAM-1 changes from red to orange and back again. The acronym CAM-1 stands for Chameleon-1, a fitting name for this revolutionary new shoe.

“This color changing technology has been in the making for years. You have to see it to believe it,” said Lambano’s president and CEO, Temilade Rhodes-Vivour.

The company will start shipping the first round of orders on Oct 15, 2010. With over 5,000 people joining Lambano’s Facebook page in only three months, it looks like the shoe is going to be a hit.

The company's representative said that, "since pre-ordering began on July 31, 2010, we have seen substantial interest for the CAM-1 and we expect to reach 12,000 orders by December of this year." The CAM-1 is only available online at Lambano's official website at http://www.lambano.com.
