Arcadia Solutions, a national healthcare IT consultancy, was accepted this month into the Rhode Island Regional Extension Center’s (RI REC) Vendor Marketplace in five key categories.

The RI REC Vendor Marketplace is a forum of pre-approved consulting services and software providers that meet the organization’s quality standards for serving Rhode Island physician practices in the advancement of healthcare IT initiatives.

Arcadia has been approved for the marketplace in the following five categories:

  •     EHR Readiness Assessments
  •     Electronic Health Record (EHR) Implementation Services
  •     Practice Redesign & Optimization Services
  •     Meaningful Use Gap Analysis
  •     Quality Improvement & Measures Services

“Arcadia’s admission into the RI REC Vendor Marketplace further validates the quality work we’re delivering in the industry. It’s a real privilege to be part of it,” said Brian Gildea, a Director at Arcadia Solutions. “We’re looking forward working with more Rhode Island physicians to achieve Meaningful Use requirements and drive discernable benefits from their IT investments.”

Using the marketplace, Rhode Island physicians are able to better assess and compare their vendor options to ease the EHR implementation and optimization process. Only top vendors were selected by RI REC on the basis of business stability, strategy to meet Meaningful Use objectives, experience in the EHR market, and an in-depth assessment of services.

Arcadia has considerable experience working with hospitals and physician organizations throughout New England and across the country to improve their clinical, financial and operational performance through the use of data-driven IT solutions.
“We are excited that through our Vendor Marketplace, Rhode Island healthcare practices have a trusted resource to turn to for pre-qualified EHR software vendors and consultants,” said Ken Berry, director of REC Program Management. “Our REC Marketplace vendor participants went through an objective, rigorous selection process and we are confident these organizations will assist REC members in achieving Meaningful Use.”
