Chantilly Mission Essential Personnel (MEP) today announced it has hired Michael Jakobowski as its new Chief Financial Officer. Jakobowski brings to MEP more than 25 years of management and consulting experience in both corporate finance and public accounting and most recently served as CFO of Cambridge Information Group, overseeing a portfolio of information technology companies with revenues in excess of $600 million., VA.

During Jakobowski's tenure as CFO at Cambridge, revenues grew from $19 million to more than $600 million via organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Previous experience includes senior financial roles at Thomson Financial, Coopers & Lybrand and Price Waterhouse. Jakobowski earned his bachelor's in accounting from the University of Maryland and is a certified public accountant.
