Newly published book to be featured at this year’s California Library Association Book Exhibit in San Diego, CA on November 12-15.

As you read through the pages of the book, I pray you could clearly see what an awesome God we serve… I pray that this book will be for the glory of God who empowered me to do His work, who will use this book to bring a word of hope to the hopeless. It would be a source of blessing and encouragement to those who are going through a crisis and hardship as it did to me

Life is a journey that will only be traveled once; so why not make the most of it? This life journey is full of mysteries and surprises; nothing is certain, anything can happen. In this fast-changing world, only God is ever unchanging. And that’s what author Betty Dayeh highlights in her newly released book, Your Word Is a Lamp to My Feet and a Light to My Path. She invites readers to center their lives and journeys on the Word of God.

In this book, the author discusses the Word of God in its various forms. This shows how God’s Word is indeed the lamp and light one needs in this journey called life. The Word of God Is a Map. Precise direction and guidance is what God’s Word offers everyone. His Word is a person’s “navigational system,” a directional map with clear instructions to follow that will lead the person safely to his or her final destination. The Word of God Is Light. Since man resides in a spiritually dark world, God’s Word is the torch, the candle, the light that man needs to avoid stumbling painfully or groping aimlessly in the darkness of the world. The Word of God Builds Faith. When everything seems to be deteriorating and going awry or when nothing is going the way one hopes for, discouragement and frustration pile up, but God’s Word brings faith forward and becomes the anchor that would ultimately stabilize the person.

“As you read through the pages of the book, I pray you could clearly see what an awesome God we serve… I pray that this book will be for the glory of God who empowered me to do His work, who will use this book to bring a word of hope to the hopeless. It would be a source of blessing and encouragement to those who are going through a crisis and hardship as it did to me,” prays the author.

It’s time everyone heeds this call. It’s time everyone becomes a doer of God’s Word.
