I could not have purchased either one of these premium domains if it weren’t for the expertise of domain broker Rob Sequin.

Domain broker Rob Sequin recently acquired the city domain Cambridge.com and another Boston area city .com domain name for his client who is building a network of city .com "geodomains". Brookline Massachusetts resident Doug Tanger, who is a real estate investor and former owner of several radio stations, is applying his business expertise to the development of these highly sought after city geodomains. As is customary in the domain industry with high value domain names, prices were not released.

Mr. Tanger is developing the domains to provide information and services to local businesses, residents and tourists. Broker Rob Sequin said “I am happy to act as Doug’s domain buyer broker so I can help him expand his portfolio of city domains.”

Cambridge.com was registered in 1992 and the other domain was registered in 1996.

Geodomain buyer and developer Doug Tanger said “I could not have purchased either one of these premium domains if it weren’t for the expertise of domain broker Rob Sequin. I am thrilled to add these domains to my city domain portfolio and look forward to using Rob to find more geodomains that I can develop with local content.”

In a separate deal, Rob Sequin acted as seller broker for Rob Grant, a well known domain investor, to help him sell several valuable Caribbean travel and business related geo domain names. These top quality, generic domains were purchased by an end user who will develop them for business purposes.

Seller Rob Grant said “I’m happy that these Caribbean geodomains were purchased by an end user who intends to develop them to their fullest potential” and he commented on Rob Sequin’s brokerage service by saying “This deal took a great deal of thought and planning to execute. Rob was superb in his handling and concern for every detail at every stage of the transaction. He was solely responsible for finding the buyer for these domain names.”

Another well known investor and developer of geo domain names, Skip Hoagland of DomainsNewMedia.com, also wanted to comment about Rob Sequin’s broker services "I have known Rob for many years. We have done business together I am very comfortable saying that I look forward to working with Rob again on another deal."

Domain portfolio owner Dennis Conley came to Rob Sequin in 2009 to see if Rob could find an end user buyer for a portfolio of state+income tax .com domains could be found. Mr. Sequin put together a deal with H&R Block to purchase a substantial portion of Mr. Conley’s tax domain portfolio for a price in the six figures. Domains and price were not disclosed. Dennis said “Rob was instrumental in bringing H&R Block to the table and negotiating with them on my behalf for a price that I could not have reached on my own. Rob has a knack for finding and selling to end users.”

Unfortunately several domain names could not be mentioned in this release but Mr. Sequin claims that city, geo+industry and travel destination .com domains have unrivaled development and monetary value that has been proven year after year with strong demand and sale prices.
