The PDU will offer a direct method of reviewing and entering demographic data on file with all payers in the region through a provider portal with automated field-level validation along with the ability to attach supporting files. In addition to improving user and payer experience, PDU validates provider updates before submission for correct formatting and provides flexibility by allowing payers to configure field properties to meet their system requirements. For providers, the application offers a simple, accessible interface to view and update demographic information for each payer relationship.

The PDU eliminates the need for the provider office to call or fax demographic data to payers, a typically time-consuming process. Therefore, there is little to no delay in applying specific updates to important data.
