CaptiveWorks Inc. announces today the release of VeuBox., a high-definition media center capable of delivering stunning 1080p resolution video for an unprecedented home theater experience.

VeuBox includes third-generation CaptiveWorks Linux Media Center (CW-LMC) software and provides a fully integrated lean back (ten-foot UI) experience for all modern media playback needs.

VeuBox is the one box for viewing a library of movies, TV shows and web-only clips to use from the comfort of home without having to navigate through websites using a keyboard or mouse. Watch hundreds of live TV channels from around the world organized by the country or genre of the channel. VeuBox also offers a cutting-edge browser for a rich Internet surfing experience on the large TV.

VeuBox is bundled with many open-source and proprietary software packages including XBMC, Firefox, Hulu Desktop*, YouTube Leanback, TVUNetworks, SOPCast, and a 10-foot UI interface to Google News, international IPTV channels, and web-only broadcasts.
