Cadence Group Chosen by Centers for Disease Control as a Small Business Vendor of Management Consulting Services

Cadence Group will provide a broad range of information technology services that support the global health mission of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). This contract gives CDC the ability to order management consulting services from Cadence Group for the next ten (10) years.

Cadence Group®, an information and records management firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, is pleased to announce that it has been chosen by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as a small business vendor for the CDC Information Management Services (CIMS) contract. Under the terms of the contract, Cadence Group will provide a broad range of management consulting services to support the global health mission of the CDC.

The CDC is widely known and respected as a provider of timely, scientifically-based, and trusted health information. Consequently, CDC's dependence on information technology, information systems, and electronic communications continues to grow rapidly and is essential to its mission and program accomplishment.

This contract gives CDC the ability to order management consulting services from Cadence Group for the next ten (10) years. "We have been working with the CDC for years assisting the agency with a variety of information management projects, and are very excited to be chosen as a preferred vendor," stated Tina Baker, Cadence Group President and CEO.

This contract was established to ensure the CDC has ongoing. timely, high-quality, and comprehensive management consulting contractual services that are also cost effective, efficient, and innovative. Awardees are permitted to produce work for CDC's intergovernmental grantees, such as state, local and international health agencies, other Contractors working for CDC, and other Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) organizational components.

Cadence Group's capabilities are complemented under this contract by two exceptional organizations: Cognosante, LLC, a small business focused on health information interoperability and clinical analytics, and Public Health Foundation, a national, 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on public health policy and improving the performance of public health agencies.
