Benefit-Open House for St. Jude to Raise Funds for Kids Battling Cancer

Working with chemo clients for the last 17 years, I have seen the dramatic rise of cancer in children. We need your help with this benefit to make it successful and secure our children's future.

Hair For You Salon in Arlington Heights, IL, is hosting an Open House Benefit for Children with Cancer on Saturday, November 13 from 3- 8 p.m. All proceeds raised with be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, which is one of the premier centers for the research and treatment of pediatric cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.

The open house fundraiser will feature food prepared by local culinary arts students, a recital of local children in performing arts, and a silent auction of local students’ and adult artwork to benefit St. Jude’s. Any child who wishes to offer a performing arts recital or piece of artwork, or any adult offering a piece of art, should contact Hair For Your Salon owner Linda DiFronzo at (847) 259-4968.

Hair For You Salon specializes in cranial prosthesis, better known as wigs, for men, women, and children who have lost hair due to cancer treatments like chemotherapy. The stylists are also trained in cutting newly grown hair after chemo treatments.
