Helping a family in need on Long Island, NY

A dedication to helping those in need is a great and noble thing. At http://www.BidForMaterials.com we are familiar with aiding those less fortunate by helping them to attain better living conditions, and are proud to do so. We recently became familiar with a new non-for-profit foundation called Building Hope for Long Island. Their mission is simple; “To Build Hope in Long Island communities by repairing ordinary homes for extraordinary families.” Their goal is to help one family per year. We are reaching out to you today in order to help them attain this goal.

Their latest endeavor is to help James Shaljian and his family. James has been battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma for many years. Mold in their small two bedroom home forced James out of the house as it was jeopardizing his health and recovery. The community converted a small cottage on their property to make it livable for James while his wife, Christine, and four daughters remained in the main house. They plan to start building the Shaljian’s new home this October so the family will be able to be under the same roof this upcoming holiday season.
