Stalker Radar will formally introduce its new Speed Awareness Monitor (SAM) trailer at the upcoming International Association of Chiefs of Police convention.

Stalker Radar, the World Leader in Speed Measurement, will formally introduce its new Speed Awareness Monitor (SAM) trailer at the upcoming International Association of Chiefs of Police convention in Orlando, Florida, being held Oct. 24-26.

Integral in the new SAM trailer is Stalker's Ka-Band radar with greater range, sensitivity, and tracking when compared to competitive trailers' K-Band radars.

The SAM features an LED Lamp Matrix and LED Pulse Width Modulation. The LED Lamp Matrix concentrates and focuses the LEDs' light, allowing the motorist to see the sign at a greater distance and, thus, act on the speed warning quicker.

LED Pulse Width Modulation significantly increases the time between battery charges and powers the LEDs so that they remain at a consistent brightness throughout the battery's discharge cycle.
The SAM's 18" amber LED characters are legible at up to 1000 feet, while its hand-held controller provides programming and diagnostic functions.

Options include solar panels that recharge a day's worth of battery use with only 2.5 hours of sunlight, and an integrated statistical package that gathers valuable traffic data for improved grant writing support and verification of the sign's impact on traffic speeds.

The Speed Awareness Monitor trailer is available only from Stalker Radar, the World Leader in Speed Measurement. Law enforcement organizations, professional sports teams, and manufacturers around the globe requiring state of the art speed measurement applications look to Stalker Radar products for the utmost in quality and value.
Stalker Radar will be in Booth #1563.
