Sparta Systems will present at the upcoming RAPS Annual Conference in a session titled “e-Regulatory Issues for Devices” on Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

WHAT: Sparta Systems, Inc. (, the maker of TrackWise® quality management software and the market leader in enterprise quality and compliance management solutions, today announced that it will present at the upcoming RAPS Annual Conference in a session titled “e-Regulatory Issues for Devices” on Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The presentation will focus on best practices for compliance with current regulations and tactics for organizations to prepare for forthcoming regulatory deadlines.

For organizations in the life sciences industry, new regulatory requirements call for adverse events and customer data to be reported to the FDA via electronic submission. In order to prepare for this complex transition, companies should begin to address compliance with the new requirements sooner rather than later. In this presentation, Sparta Systems will demonstrate how a real-world drug manufacturer successfully implemented an electronic submission system to provide clinical tracking data to the FDA’s while maintaining current workflows and business processes.

WHO: Joe Goodman is the director of solutions consulting for Sparta Systems and has been involved with the design and deployment of the company’s e-reporting suite at several customer sites. Goodman is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and an accomplished project facilitator. Prior to joining Sparta Systems, Goodman spent seven years as a Six Sigma Black Belt at Merrill Lynch.
