Choosing a senior residence or nursing home can be a daunting, stressful, and guilt provoking. Livable Communities? Independent living with help? Assisted living with care built in? Nursing homes without horror stories?

Miriam Zucker, elder care consultant and professional geriatric care manager, will present a seminar entitled: "Senior Residences: Making the Right Choice," at the Bronxville Adult School (http://www.bronxvilleadultschool.org) on October 28, 2010 from 7-9 PM.

Miriam Zucker, founder of Directions in Aging, (http://www.directionsinaging.com) has been providing guidance to older adults and their families since 1988. Geriatric care management services provide supervision to adult seniors whose families are residing outside the Westchester County, New York area. Ms. Zucker also serves on the faculty of The Brookdale Center for Healthy Aging and Longevity of Hunter College.
