iPhoneRumours.com, a blog dedicated to the future products, ideas and projects of Apple, Inc. (AAPL), was formally launched today. The blog updates Apple enthusiasts on the latest goings-on in the Apple environment.
iPhoneRumours.com cofounder Bud Haskowitz said that the idea for the blog came as a direct result of wanting to know what Apple products were on the horizon. “With a company like Apple, there are always going to rumors, speculations as to what is going to be released next,” said Haskowitz. “iPhoneRumours.com looks to address consumer questions and hopefully keep Apple product users well-informed.”
In recent days, the blog has addressed a range of topics, including the eventual arrival of Apple products to Verizon cell phone service provider, Wal-Mart’s preparation to begin carrying iPads, and even Apple’s recent trademark of “there’s an app for that” slogan.
As the blog grows, Haskowitz expects to run various contests and promotions that will conjure up the imaginations of Apple enthusiasts nationwide. According to Haskowitz, a significant part of the Apple “rumor mill” is identifying what the general public expects to be released next.
“Apple has done very well in predicting the technological and social needs of its customers. The company is always at the forefront of practical technology use and I see no reason why this should stop any time soon,” said Haskowitz.
