Bronx Senator, Pastor, Endorses Faulkner Over Incumbent Charlie Rangel

Michel Faulkner, Candidate for New York's 15th District House Seat

I am asking the entire Hispanic community to forget about party labels – forget about Republican and Democrat – and vote for the candidate who will promote the moral values that our parents taught us.

State Senator Ruben Diaz (D-32nd District), Chair of the Senate Puerto Rican and Latino Caucus, today crossed party lines to endorse Michel Faulkner for Congress. Senator Diaz, who founded and is the Pastor of the Christian Community Neighborhood Church, said that Mr. Faulkner is the only choice for voters who wants to preserve family values.

“Michel Faulkner is the type of man this community needs and deserves for its representative in Congress,” said Senator Diaz. “I am asking the entire Hispanic community to forget about party labels – forget about Republican and Democrat – and vote for the candidate who will promote the moral values that our parents taught us. I am honored to stand with Michel Faulkner and to endorse him for Congress.”

Mr. Faulkner said, “I am honored to have the endorsement of a man who has done so much to improve his community. With Senator Diaz’s help, I know we can win this race and restore accountability to Washington. From Congress, I look forward to helping Senator Diaz in his efforts to improve economic opportunities, housing, health care, and education.”
