Now We’re Cookin’, the premier culinary center for Chicago and North Shore suburbs, invites all locavores, passionate foodies, neighbors and friends to the inaugural North Shore Artisan Food Market on Saturday, November 6th. This innovative fall market day will introduce the public to great food entrepreneurs from across Chicago’s Northern suburbs. A wide range of small batch, locally hand-crafted food products will be on display: some will be familiar from local summer farmers’ markets, but others will be new to many. Market visitors will be able to taste samples of their products, talk with the entrepreneurs, and purchase the products or place orders for future deliveries.
Among the Participants will be:
Gata Bee Crepes ... GrownUp KidStuff (chocolate sauces) ... Sheekar Gourmet (balkava) ... Anthony Grace Collection (spice infused chocolate/coffee) ... North Shore Distillery (small batch spirits) ... The Green Teaist (fine Japanese teas) ... Maggie’s Gourmet (infused butters) ... Annie’s Edibles (gourmet granola) ... Sweet Margy gourmet toffee)
... and many more!
For small food businesses, this is a great opportunity to broaden market presence, generate “buzz” about their product, and kick-start holiday sales! For the public, this is a unique opportunity to taste and learn about locally-produced products. For buyers, the market provides a great chance to source locally-made products for a store or grocery. We invite everyone to come, browse, taste, and buy!
The Market will be open the first Saturday in November, 10 am – 3 pm. Vendors need to reserve space in advance by contacting Now We’re Cookin’ (847-570-4140 or patti(at)nwcookin(dot)com).
