About the Author
Mildred Bernard is twenty-eight years old. She was born and raised in Long Island New York. She has three sisters and one half brother—and a cat named Cinque. She attended Brentwood High School then Delaware State University where she majored in Psychology. She received a master’s degree from Chatham University in school counseling and mental health community counseling. Currently, Bernard is a guidance counselor at a Middle School in Florida and is working on her Ph.D. in marriage and family therapy. She is a member of the charismatic prayer team at her church and she is a Reiki Master Teacher. She dances and sometimes teaches salsa. Moreover, she is a daughter and a sister, a teacher and a counselor, and a friend. Bernard is creative, adventurous, reliable, and kind. She is also an artist and enjoys nature, life and love. She welcomes everyone into her world because she feels and knows that people who work together can achieve more at a faster rate.
