About the Author
LulaBelle Mercer, author, is married to a United States Marine and is raising a little girl pug named Dixie Doo. They live wherever Uncle Sam sends them. She wants to be a counselor when she grows up and work with divorced kids.
The illustrator, Dan Hampton, had served in the United States Navy for over twenty-two years. He lives in Virginia with his wife and dog. He likes to fix up old VWs and ride his Harley Davidson.
