I.R.I.S. (EURONEXT Brussels: IRI – http://www.iriscorporate.com) a leading European Enterprise Content Management and Intelligent Document Management Recognition specialist have finalized an agreement with McLaren Software to sell and support Enterprise EngineerTM in the Nordic region

Paul Muir – CEO McLaren Software “We have been delighted to be selected especially as I.R.I.S.’s approach to marketing industry focused ECM solutions has proven very successful in other industry sectors"

Under the agreement I.R.I.S. will be targeting Oil & Gas, Utility, Construction and process manufacturing companies in Norway and Denmark initially and all other Nordic countries in 2012. The agreement is a further reflection of the maturing of the ECM market and the move to line of business applications. The emergence of document based applications supported by published roadmaps, certifications, support and training services have been predicted by analysts to replace often expensive and difficult to upgrade customer solutions based on ECM platform customizations and frameworks.

Etienne Van de Kerckhove, CEO of the I.R.I.S. Group, Europe’s premier enterprise content management (ECM) specialist, confirmed ”after extensive market research for engineering solutions, we rapidly came to the conclusion that combining forces with McLaren in the Nordic countries would be an ideal opportunity. We look forward to a very successful partnership.”
.
Paul Muir – CEO McLaren Software commented. “Partnering with I.R.I.S. provides McLaren with the much needed local knowledge and coverage for the Nordic region. We have been delighted to be selected especially as I.R.I.S.’s approach to marketing industry focused ECM solutions has proven very successful in other industry sectors. This and other recent partnerships for McLaren further underline the demand by customers for proven line-of-business applications on ECM platforms.”
