For every meal sold Tuesday, November 9, 2010 a 50% contribution of the sale will be donated to the Meals on Wheels Program. One of Meals on Wheels goals is to help end senior hunger in Seven Bay Area Counties including Contra Costa.

The Vineyards Chop House-Bar Restaurant will be participating in the Bay Area Dine Out for Meals on Wheels Program. One of Meals on Wheels goals is to help end senior hunger in Seven Bay Area Counties including Contra Costa.

By patronizing one of the Restaurants in the Directory or at http://www.DineOutNow.org on Tuesday November 9, 2010, a minimum of 10% of your bill will be contributed back to support the local Meals on Wheels Program.

As part of our Crowne Plaza Cares Program - Vineyards Chop House- Bar has offered a 50% contribution of sales to be donated for that day.

Mr. Van Akin has supported this organization in the past, as a Celebrity Chef, for the Kentucky Derby Fundraiser Event in Sonoma County and is proud to continue supporting this program.    Vineyards Chop House-Bar offers “Beef Pure and Simple.” “By participating in this program we can help end hunger, it is also that simple,” Mr. Van Akin concluded.

Vineyards Chop House – Bar opened in Summer 2010, and serves USDA Prime Grade Harris Ranch Beef, cooked in an 1800 degree infared broiler.
