Penton Media Recognized for Success in Marketing Center of Excellence Category

Penton Media today announced the company won a 2010 Eloqua Markie Award in the Marketing Center of Excellence category. Eloqua, the leader in marketing automation solutions that dramatically accelerate revenue growth, presented Penton Media’s IT and Developer group with a Markie Award at the recent sold-out Eloqua Experience user conference. The Markie Awards celebrate outstanding accomplishments in marketing impact and revenue generation and are awarded to marketers who demonstrate innovation and vision.

The fourth annual Markie Awards received a record-breaking number of submissions – nearly 200 entries – from marketers across a range of industries. Eloqua’s marketing automation and revenue performance management solutions are used by more than 50,000 marketers worldwide, more than all other vendors combined. The number of applications from the size of the pool created the most intense competition in the history of the Markies.
