Sharefaith, the leading online provider of Christian media, and TruePath, a Christian web hosting company, recently announced a new strategic partnership. The business partnership provides Sharefaith customers with a Christian web-hosting solution.

Sharefaith, founded in 2002, provides media solutions for over 16,500 churches worldwide. Now as thousands of churches require a web presence, Sharefaith plans to help meet that need by offering professionally-designed church website templates. Sharefaith's entrance into the church website market is a natural fit for the company's goal to provide comprehensive church media solutions. Beginning in late fall, Sharefaith will begin offering church website templates. Due to the new initiative, Sharefaith needed a web hosting company that would provide hosting service while at the same time matching the company's Christian values. Sharefaith's CEO and President Hein van Wyk said, "In order to give thousands of churches the best websites possible, we needed to find a Web host that offered great service, an ideal price point, and most importantly, uncompromising Christian values."

TruePath provided the right combination of qualities allowing it to be selected for Sharefaith's web site hosting plan. "We admit that we had some pretty high standards for a Web hosting company. We researched dozens of companies. TruePath definitely came out on top," van Wyk stated.

TruePath takes a stance against hosting adult content and pornographic websites. TruePath CEO Glen Vidals started the company in 1997 with a vision to provide something that a secular web hosting company couldn't offer. "Many of Truepath's customers come to us seeking an alternative to the secular companies." TruePath enforces an acceptable use policy (AUP) that prevents them from hosting objectionable content. In addition, TruePath has a statement of faith which, according to Vidals, "helps our customers understand what we mean by 'Christian.'"

Both Sharefaith and TruePath are anticipating increased business as a result of the partnership. Sharefaith's Hein van Wyk explains, "By going with a Christian Web hosting company like TruePath, we know our customers will be able to create websites with greater confidence." Glen Vidals echoed Sharefaith's excitement: "Sharefaith has a terrific offering to their customer base and has grown over the years. TruePath has had success as well, but we've been lacking the kind of experience that Sharefaith can provide. The customer will benefit greatly from the synergy of both companies. We think this is a match made in heaven."
