Keep tabs on Senate wins and losses as the returns are tallied

After two years of growing economic uncertainty, the mid-term elections appear as a beacon of real hope for seniors, according to Dan Weber, president of the Association of Mature American Seniors [AMAC]. Weber made the statement in announcing the availability on the association’s Web site (http://www.amac.us) of a free Senate Scoreboard to help keep tabs on the most crucial elections next week.
“If the status quo holds in both the House and the Senate, there’ll be more of the same fumbling and missed opportunities that we saw in the stimulus, health care and housing fiascos that swamped the nation under unchecked liberal rule,” Weber warns.
“But the momentum is with the loyal opposition, particularly in the House, offering an opportunity for corrections to be made. A shift in control of the Senate on Election Day will help speed the process of putting the economy and the nation on the right track.
“Thus, it’s the balance of power in the Senate that is top of the mind in the coming days and so AMAC has put together a chart to help keep tabs on Senate wins and losses as the returns are tallied. It is offered as a free download at our Web site,” Weber says.
