With almost three weeks to go before the event, Private Placement Partners, LLC, (PPP) the immigration consortium led by U.S. Investment Visa Attorney Jose Latour announced the closing of regular registration for the Nov. 17, 2010 seminar, "An American Future: Strategic Immigration Planning for U.S. EB-5 Investors©", taking place at Dubai's prestigious Shangri-La Hotel and Conference Center. Over 70 pre-qualified and accredited prospective investors hailing from 10 Middle Eastern, African, and Asian nations will attend Latour's first Middle Eastern presentation of the highly popular event.

"The EB-5 Investor Visa is simply the most direct path to a life in America...but ONLY if you choose the right investment vehicle..."

Private Placement Partners (PPP) and former U.S. Visa Officer and A/V rated U.S. attorney Jose Latour are bringing his seminar, “An American Future: Strategic Immigration Planning for U.S. EB-5 Investors©” to the business epicenter of the the Middle East for the first time; the event has generated a strong response in the Region, with all seats reserved and a back up queue growing nearly three weeks before the event.

Latour, author of the celebrated Immigration Insider blog, has focused on investment-based U.S. immigration since leaving the U.S. diplomatic service in the early 1990's. Outspoken and critical of what he calls "a dangerously misleading EB-5 marketing climate", Latour's prior "Port of Entry" blog had over 30,000 daily readers at its peak readership. After conducting extensive due diligence on the top EB-5 Regional Centers, today Latour works exclusively with several Regional Center projects which, in his opinion, can deliver both the green card...AND a safe investment vehicle for his clients.

Earlier in the year, Latour challenged the immigration bar to follow his lead and make Investor Petition attorneys fees contingent on I-526 approval. To date, he remains the lone U.S. immigration attorney who holds attorneys fees in trust until I-526 approval. He elaborates:

"Immigration attorneys spend a lot of time recommending EB-5 projects without even considering the financial risk; although we are certainly not qualified as financial advisers, it is reckless to send clients to what are clearly defective projects. Because I've done my homework, I can look a client in the eye and tell him or her that, yes, if I was in their shoes, I would select a given project based on my immigration AND financial objectives. It has been a given that EB-5 investments are money-losers for the client; not anymore, and I'm willing to make my fee contingent on approval of the client's petition."

Latour's prior EB-5 events in Mexico, Hong Kong, and Latin America have been well received. Fernando Reategui, a member of PPP and former JP Morgan executive who now specializes in private placement insurance for high net worth individuals planning U.S. immigration, has known and worked with Latour for over 20 years:

"Jose is very passionate about protecting his clients and that reality has made him the go-to resource for many international wealth advisers with clients considering U.S. immigration. Over the years, we have developed a group of like-minded colleagues in the estate planning, tax, insurance, real estate, and other critical sectors...people we trust. By putting us all together informally via Private Placement Partners, Jose has created the first multidisciplinary 'one stop shop' of proven, ethical professionals who will collaborate to insure a smooth and fiscally-prudent transition to a green card."

While the Nov. 17 Dubai event is fully booked, standby reservations are being taken in the event of cancellations.
