Nationally Acclaimed Public Research University to Launch Online Certificate Programs in Sustainability Leadership

The University of Vermont, ranked a Tier 1 Best National University by U.S. News & World Report, has chosen Bisk Education’s University Alliance division as the exclusive online provider of professional certificate programs in sustainability leadership.

The instructor-led, video-based professional certificates in Campus Sustainability Leadership and Corporate Sustainability Leadership will build upon the University of Vermont’s national reputation for the strength of its faculty and offerings in sustainability and environmental sciences. The university’s commitment to environmental stewardship was highlighted most recently by its “A” rating in an independent evaluation of university campus sustainability activities nationwide.

The programs, which will showcase streaming video lectures by noted professors and environmental experts at the University of Vermont, promise to maximize interaction and convenience through advanced Internet technology. Using dynamic features such as faculty-hosted chat rooms, discussion boards and MP3/MP4 mobile audio and video, students can enjoy a rich experience that no other online certificate program can match.
