First Choice Emergency Room, a leading operator of freestanding emergency rooms in the state of Texas, today announced it has extended hours for its facilities in both Houston and the Dallas / Forth Worth metroplex.

First Choice is known for providing emergency services without the long wait of a hospital emergency room. Now with its extended hours, most of the company’s Houston locations are open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days a week. The facility located on Atascocita Road in Humble continues to operate from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., daily.

Most of the company’s Dallas / Forth Worth locations are now open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days a week. The facility located in North Fort Worth on Western Center Blvd. is open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., daily.

“Our goal is to provide patients with an alternative to conventional hospital based emergency services.” says First Choice owner Jack Novak, “These extended hours mean we are able to do that better.”
First Choice seeks to provide patients with shorter wait times by taking the ER out of the hospital and placing it within the community.

In the Houston area the company operates ER centers in The Woodlands, Spring, Humble, Pearland and League City, as well as facilities within Houston city limits at 10130 Louetta Rd. and 15881 FM 529.
In the Dallas / Forth Worth area the company operates ER centers in Murphy, Plano, Flower Mound and North Fort Worth.

Founded in 2002, First Choice ER has grown from their original home in North Texas to twelve facilities across the state.
