Kobie Marketing, a leading loyalty marketing and technology agency, today announced it won two 2010 Summit Marketing Effectiveness Awards for its work with Verizon on the Business Link Rewards loyalty program enrollment campaign and website which rewards Verizon’s small- and medium-sized business customers. The award honors marketing communications that change, influence, or reinforce a target audience’s knowledge, attitudes or beliefs and demonstrate exceptional marketing effectiveness.
The Verizon Business Link Rewards website won based on its user-friendly design and effectiveness and was rebranded to improve the member experience. The new site features larger type and logos, a more interactive rewards catalogue, and an easier self-enrollment process. Since the website rebranding, member online redemptions have increased to over 85% of total redemptions and 98% of members that responded to an online survey said the new website is user-friendly.
The enrollment campaign won because of its outstanding creative and exceptional response and was designed to increase member enrollment. The enrollment campaign urged qualified Verizon business customers to register for the program by visiting a unique URL or by calling a toll-free number. The campaign over-achieved its objectives and delivered a 10% initial response rate with 77% of responses coming through the unique URL versus the toll-free number. Plus, 38% of targeted members redeemed their Verizon Bonus Credits within the first five months of the enrollment period.
