Aberdeen’s research shows that companies that implement automated solutions for background screening, employment or education verification, and reference checking experienced 60% better quality of hire compared to those without screening solutions in place. The study also found that organizations that fully integrated employment screening systems and data with applicant tracking systems (ATS) experienced a 3% annual improvement in time to hire and a 5% average reduction in cost per hire over those organizations who had not integrated these systems. Additionally, the report reveals that 84% of Aberdeen’s best-in-class companies for talent acquisition use background screening solutions and companies using those solutions are 43% more likely to achieve best-in-class results.
