MediaBank enables simplified, intelligent media management across limitless media channels—which is critical as our businesses seek to intelligently target audiences.
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) November 1, 2010
IPG’s Mediabrands has entered into a long-term agreement with MediaBank to provide media buying technology services. The agreement includes multiple MediaBank product lines and will serve IPG agencies in the United States and in Canada.
The partnership follows an intense selection process in which Mediabrands reviewed the leading media management technologies globally, and ultimately chose MediaBank’s suite of products: including MediaBank O|X media management platform, C|D analytics system, and V|P for automated ad buying. The transition to MediaBank is expected to be completed late in the third quarter of 2011. The partnership significantly expands MediaBank’s existing relationship with IPG to now include all Mediabrands agencies, such as Initiative, UM, and others. It also extends existing agreements at IPG including Dailey, Draftfcb, Hill Holiday, ID Media, McCann Erickson, and ORION Trading.
“Mediabrands is committed to employing revolutionary technology across all of our businesses and entities,” said Scott Beltran, Chief Information Officer, Mediabrands. “MediaBank’s innovation helps make data accessible and actionable across today’s ever-expanding number of marketing touch points. Furthermore, MediaBank’s open structure and interoperability with third-party data and system providers helps us easily customize to our particular needs. MediaBank enables simplified, intelligent media management across limitless media channels—which is critical as our businesses seek to intelligently target audiences.”
Adds Bill Wise, MediaBank’s CEO: “MediaBank has long admired the technology-forward, data-centric philosophy with which IPG operates in the media buying field. To be tapped as the technology provider powering that approach across IPG North America in all forms of media is a challenge for which we are soundly prepared, and one that we foresee creating lasting success for both businesses. We’re truly honored to be selected to accompany IPG into the future of media buying.”
