These days, people are looking for more affordable ways to look younger. Many women tell me that looking older can be a liability when applying and interviewing for a job.

Houston area plastic surgeon Dr. Leo Lapuerta will be hosting a BOTOX® and Juvéderm™ party Wednesday, November 17, 2010 from noon to 6 p.m. at his plastic surgery practice on County Road 94 in Pearland. Those interested in affordable, non-invasive treatments for younger-looking skin can register to attend by calling Dr. Lapuerta’s practice (713.340.0990) or emailing the Houston plastic surgeon. At the event, triple-board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Lapuerta will personally administer sterile, safe injections of the facial rejuvenation treatments BOTOX® Cosmetic and Juvéderm™.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is one of the nation’s most popular wrinkle-reducing and facial rejuvenation treatments. BOTOX® reduces wrinkles by relaxing the muscles underneath the skin. Juvéderm™ is an FDA-approved dermal filler that corrects moderate-to-severe wrinkles with an injectable gel made from naturally-occurring halyuronic acid. At the BOTOX®/Juvéderm™ party on November 17, Dr. Lapuerta will offer BOTOX® Cosmetic injections for $10 per unit and Juvéderm™ treatments for $400 per syringe.

BOTOX® parties have been a growing trend for years. They are a fun way for people—mostly women—who hate their wrinkles and want to look a little fresher to get together for a shared self-confidence boost.

Moreover, BOTOX® and Juvéderm™ parties have become increasingly popular since this recession began. The struggling economy has made women seeking a youthful look more inclined to choose these non-invasive facial rejuvenation treatments over more expensive options like a facelift or other plastic surgery procedures.

Dr. Lapuerta does offer facelifts, brow lifts, rhinoplasty, and other plastic surgery procedures at his Pearland practice. In this recession, though, Dr. Lapuerta wants to make the facial rejuvenation benefits of BOTOX® and Juvéderm™ available to Houston-area patients who cannot afford more permanent treatments.

In addition, the BOTOX® and Juvéderm™ party will be both an affordable self-esteem boost and a learning opportunity for people unfamiliar with plastic surgery or worried about the risks of surgical procedures.

According to Houston plastic surgeon Dr. Lapuerta, “These days, people are looking for more affordable ways to look younger. Many women tell me that looking older can be a liability when applying and interviewing for a job.” Perhaps some attendees of Lapuerta’s BOTOX® and Juvéderm™ party will find that fixing a few wrinkles may pay off in more ways than just a more youthful appearance.
