Metropolitan Medical Services — a premier anesthesia sales and service supplier — offers many cost-effective alternatives to customers affected by GE (Datex Ohmeda) and Drager (Draeger) anesthesia machine discontinuations.

Metropolitan Medical Services announced today a new discount trade-in program for customers affected by the GE and Drager anesthesia machine discontinuations. The discount program will issue a trade-allowance, based on the model and condition of the trade-in, towards the purchase of a new Spacelabs BleaseSirius anesthesia system or a current generation reconditioned anesthesia machine.

Factory support is no longer being offered for many popular GE and Drager machines. Some of the GE machines include the Ohmeda Modulus II & II Plus, Excel 110, Excel 210, Excel 210 SE, and Modulus SE. Drager has recently released letters regarding the discontinued service support for the Narkomed 2B, 2C and Narkomed 4.

“We are finding in the market a number of customers that are being affected by the discontinuation of service support on their machines. We are offering solutions to those customers, as well as anyone who may need machine support,” said Jeff Rhinehart, CEO, Metropolitan Medical Services.

In order to extend the value and usable life of your discontinued equipment, Metropolitan also offers significant service discounts to new clients that own the discontinued machines in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.

Metropolitan also has thousands of anesthesia machine parts available and ready to ship for medical facilities who may need parts to prolong the life of their GE and Drager anesthesia machines.
