Van Nuys, Calif. (PRWEB) November 4, 2010
Easton Hockey today announced a multi-year extension contract with New Jersey Devils left wing, NHL All-Star and Team USA Alternate Captain Zach Parise. Parise will continue to wear Easton Hockey Gear exclusively and to develop new products.
A natural with the puck, Parise has scored 160 goals and led the Devils to the NHL playoffs in each of his five seasons. In addition to being a star in the NHL, Parise is also an experienced international competitor, being named an alternate captain on the 2010 U.S. Olympic team which took home the Silver Medal in Vancouver.
“Zach Parise raises the level of excitement in the arena every time he touches the puck,” said Chris Zimmerman, president of Easton Sports. “He’s quickly made a name for himself as the premier American player in the game and proven winner.”
As a continued Easton Hockey endorsee, Parise will not only wear and market Easton Hockey gear, but also participate in the “Control Freak” campaign for the release of the Synergy EQ50 stick. The eight-year veteran will also be involved in the development of future Easton designs.
“Easton Hockey always has the best technology in all of their gear and I can’t wait to use the EQ50 this season,” Parise said. “I’m excited to keep working with Easton Hockey as they continue to revolutionize hockey sticks.”
"We are thrilled that Zach will continue his relationship with Easton Hockey for years to come and are equally excited that he will remain one of the brands featured NHL stars throughout the prime of his career." said Mark Lepselter, President, Maxx Sports Entertainment.
Terms of the multi-year deal were not disclosed.
