Voting Begins for the 2010 Handbago Awards

Fans cast their vote for the top 2010 Handbags on Handbago.com

Handbago officially announced the nominees for the 2010 Handbago Awards and opened voting to handbag fans worldwide. Kristina Moreno, President at Handbago.com stated, "We love all kinds of great bags and the Handbago Awards are the time we get to determine the best of the best in each category. We're also very excited to add a social component to the Awards and allow all handbag fans to help us vote for the winners."

The 2010 Handbago Award categories include Best "It" Bag, Best Designer, Best Clutch, Best Crossbody, Best Satchel, Best Tote, Best Timeless Classic and Best Emerging Design. Award nominees included such notable designers as Chanel, Hermes, Celine, Chloe, Jimmy Choo, Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent, Rebecca Minkoff, Kooba, Proenza Schouler, Linea Pelle, Foley + Corinna, gorjana, Angel Jackson, Adriana Castro, Reed Krakoff, Collina Strada, Lena Erziak, Cashhimi, Nyla Noor and Treesje.

Founded in 2009, The Handbago Awards were created to highlight excellence in the designer handbag industry. Voting began on November 2 and will end on November 30, 2010 at 11:59pm. Winners are determined by the total number of votes received. There is no limit on the number of times individuals can vote or share with friends. Winners will be announced via the Handbago Blog on December 1, 2010.
