Lunatic Studios launched a new version of its popular Wordpress autoblogging plugin called WP Robot today. WP Robot is intended to help bloggers safe valuable time and earn more advertising revenue off their weblogs by aggregating content from a wide range of sources and posting it to the blog in custom intervals on autopilot.

This latest release adds several new content sources to the software, bringing the total number of sources WP Robot can aggregate content from automatically to 18, seven of which are monetized and thus can earn the users of the plugin affiliate commissions by displaying the content on their weblogs. The new content sources include Commission Junction and Linkshare.com, two of the most popular affiliate networks with many high-profile merchants and thousands of products.

The new Yelp module can aggregate local business reviews from yelp.com, while the Oodle and Eventful modules can add local classified ads and events to the content mix in order to help users create weblogs targeted to specific regions or cities. All 18 content sources of WP Robot use official API programs to gather their results, improving the reliability of the service and preventing users from getting into any copyright issues.

Version 3.2 does furthermore add support for the WP Robot Control Center, an added service that allows users to remotely control any number of Wordpress weblogs from a central place. By utilizing the Control Center service users can change and manage any WP Robot feature as well as the most important Wordpress features on all their weblogs at the same time, without the need to log into each site separately.

"The new remote control possibilities through the Control Center are a great addition for people who run a large network of weblogs that use WP Robot, but even people with only a few blogs can safe huge amounts of time by using it," said Thomas Hoefter, owner and creator of WP Robot.

A free demo version of WP Robot 3.2 is available on the official website, http://wprobot.net.
